Careers in Education

The Careers in Education Program prepares students for a variety of very rewarding job opportunities within the field of education. These             opportunities range from  running your own daycare to obtaining certification to teach at any level school environment. The curriculum provides knowledge about what different professionals can do within the field of education.  A second aspect of this program involves high school students gaining hands-on experiences at four different local school           environments.

Careers in  Education prepares students for a career working with children. If you are interested in running your own daycare program, being an elementary school teacher, or even teaching in high school, this program will get you started. The curriculum combines classroom work on developmental theories of child development and hands on experience in the LRTC Magic Moments  Preschool Program and elementary schools.
